Belgravian Reverie: Fromental x Bonadea

May 12, 2025

This spring sees two British names known for their prowess in interior dreamscapes come together for an exclusive botanical collaboration. Fromental — revered for its hand-painted, hand-embroidered wallcoverings — has harmonised aesthetic forces with Bonadea, the Belgravia-based emporium of fine tableware and objets d’art, to unveil a new bespoke wallpaper design: Nonsuch Bonadea

The design draws inspiration from Bonadea’s Pimlico Road boutique — a polished world of considered indulgence and layered detail. Painted onto a pearlescent paper, Nonsuch Bonadea plays with the floral language of chinoiserie, reimagined in a springtime palette of dusky pinks, whispered blues and restrained golds. The result is a scene that feels like a composed extension of a walled garden at the height of bloom, suspended on luxuriant paper, paying tribute to the goddess of fertility after whom both the boutique and the new colourway are named.

Made in Fromental’s London studios using traditional techniques, the wallpaper sits fittingly alongside Bonadea’s curated collection of home accents. Nonsuch Bonadea is available to view in the Winter Garden at Bonadea where the collaboration’s narrative unfolds. A further installation will happen in-store in September.

Interior designers and collectors alike can request samples directly from Fromental, as the collaboration begins to make its mark across the town’s most elegant drawing and dining rooms.
